Director Of Finance Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and systems to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Stay abreast of accounting changes and industry developments, implementing relevant updates.
Analyze the profitability and trajectory of current business units.
Assess potential new business ventures and investments.
Determine current and future funding requirements and propose solutions for any shortfalls.
Lead the annual budgeting process.
Oversee annual insurance reviews.
Drive the asset-liability management (ALCO) process.
Establish and document internal controls to meet FDICIA and SOX compliance.
Monitor the effectiveness of internal controls.
Director Of Finance Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA Required
7+ years of senior finance experience in publicly held financial institutions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other business software.
Strong grasp of financial forecasting, accounting principles, and data analysis.
Familiarity with FDICIA and SOX regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions under pressure.
