It's about you
SUMMARY
Responsible for website, social media, in-branch television content, digital outdoor signage, email marketing and some graphic design. Assists in the coordination of marketing activities in advertising, direct marketing, merchandising, sales, community involvement, event planning and promoting bank products and services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Active partner in implementation of the bank's marketing strategies and brand awareness, including internal and external efforts using digital platforms.
Responsible for coordination of the bank's website, social media channels, in-branch digital software, promotional items, working with all departments within the bank.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in person, in virtual meetings and in writing.
Ability to create assets and write content for digital platforms.
Assist in the development, implementation and tracking of products, services and bank technologies.
Will be involved in the development, planning, communication and implementation of assets and measuring success of campaigns.
Ability to capture images and simple video for social media.
Some event-related activities...fulfillment of sponsor promises, with limited nights and weekend events and creating giveaways and baskets for nonprofits and gratitude gifts for sales teams.
Participates in and completes training objectives with passing scores.
Ability to accomplish administrative requirements of the position in a timely manner; i.e., webinars, mileage reports, reconciling the corporate credit card and all other deadlines.
Follows all Riverview policies and procedures.
Other duties may be assigned.
RELATIONSHIPS
Daily contact with Senior Vice President/Marketing Strategist.
Frequent interaction with managers, branch staff and Riverview Center staff in coordinating marketing activities.
Frequent contact with various businesses, agencies and vendors related to the digital marketing position.
Ability to work with diverse individuals in and outside of the bank.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The position requires intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud- Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. Along with excellent copywriting and editing skills, experience with Social Media platforms, HTML, and Content Management Systems (CMS) is highly desirable.
SKILLS:
Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-tasking, collaborative team environment
Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Buffer)
Experience with email marketing system(s) (currently using Active Campaign) preferred
Understanding of Google Analytics and other analytic platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to effectively communicate via phone/video, messaging, and email. The employee is required to use computer and office equipment such as a computer, printer, copier, as well as computer software such as Microsoft Office. You may also frequently be required to occupy a workstation for long periods of time.
