Senior Design Project Manager (Architect/Interior Design)

Job Description

Senior Project ManagerFlow builds places people genuinely want to live in and the Senior Project Manager is one of the people who makes that real. This role owns the end-to-end delivery of Flow developments: from the earliest Concept sketches through Design Development, GFC Documentation, FF&E Selection, Site Execution, and final Handover. You're the single point of accountability, which means both the satisfaction of seeing a project through completely and the authority to drive it there.You'll orchestrate across architecture, interior design, structural, MEP, and landscape. You'll be resolving coordination gaps before they reach site, holding the delivery cadence together, and making sure every change is documented and every decision has a paper trail. The project mix spans ground-up developments, conversions, third-party standard conversions, and tenant fit-outs, so no two years look the same.You'll report to the Head of Architectural Design and mentor the Project Managers around you by raising the delivery bar across the team as much as you raise it on your own projects.ResponsibilitiesDrive end-to-end project delivery across the full lifecycle from Concept through HandoverOwn project scope, schedule, and budget baselines; monitor and forecast against them throughout deliveryLead cross-discipline coordination across architecture, interior design, structural, MEP, and landscape teams, resolving interfaces before they reach siteEstablish and govern the project delivery cadence — programmes, milestones, gateway reviews, and action-log disciplineManage consultants and contractors against scope and contract obligations; review deliverables for brand and technical complianceGovern change and variation — ensure every change is documented, approved, and cost-alignedIdentify project risks early, maintain the risk register, and drive documented mitigation with department leadsManage the RFI/submittal cycle, enforcing turnaround SLAs and keeping documentation under version controlReport project health — cost, schedule, risk, and quality — to the Head of Design Management on a defined cadenceCoordinate seamless project handover with complete as-built and FM documentation at close-outMentor and review the work of Project Managers, raising delivery discipline across the teamSupport development feasibility, procurement strategy, and consultant appointments in partnership with EQS, procurement, and development teamsIdeal BackgroundBachelor's or Master's in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related built-environment discipline; PMP, PRINCE2, or RICS certification strongly preferred10–15+ years of experience in project management on mid- to large-scale real estate development projectsBackground at a real estate developer, project management consultancy, or tier-one contracting or consulting firm, with direct exposure to design-through-delivery project managementProven end-to-end delivery of at least 5 mid-to-large real estate projects across ground-up, conversion, and fit-out typesStrong cross-discipline coordination experience across architecture, interior design, structural, MEP, and landscapeCommercial fluency—budgets, procurement, cost control, variations, and claims awarenessExposure to multiple markets and regulatory environments, US and/or MENA preferredWorking knowledge of FIDIC/AIA contractsProficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project, Procore or equivalent CDE platform, Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, and Revit (review level)Comfortable leading and holding accountable consultants, contractors, and internal design teamsBenefitsHealth and Wellness Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance and parental leave benefits.
