You Are :

The Epic Operational Database Administrator (ODBA) is a critical, hands-on role and will be responsible for migrating cache instances to the public cloud. Post-migration, this person will also perform proactive monitoring and maintenance.

The Work

Creating and managing the ODB environments that serve production, reporting, disaster recovery, training, and non-production needs

Installing and maintaining the administrative and monitoring tools necessary for high levels of availability and performance of the client's Epic system

Understanding performance metrics, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues

Understanding Caché and Epic upgrades and updates to production and non-production environments

Configuring and maintaining environment copies according to the client's environment strategy

Engaging in capacity planning testing to ensure adequate system resources

Writing and maintaining scripts to improve system management tasks

Maintaining and testing processes related to business continuity

Basic Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in Healthcare IT in a Operational Database Administrator role

A minimum of 3 years of experience with Caché IRIS

Epic Operational Database Administrator Certification

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Experience with Database Technologies

Experience with Database Activity Monitoring

Experience with Database Performance Management

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington as set forth below.
