Our client a leading organization located in Commack NY is seeking a Payroll Manager. This role offers excellent benefits and a work life balance. The Responsibilities include:
Analyze, prepare, and input data to process in-house payroll for 1000+ employees
Enter and update benefit information for new and existing employees
Perform various functions in ensuring effective and efficient payroll processing, including
garnishments, benefits, and consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws.
Verify weekend time coding, dependent upon union rules
Processes payroll changes including new hires, terminations, promotions, FTE changes, PTO accruals, leaves of
absence under FMLA or other unpaid leave, merit increases, benefit deductions, 401(k) and other compensation
adjustments.
Confirm accuracy of input data for Labor
Evaluate for state tax compliance
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports via ADP
Create, document and maintain purchase orders of goods and/or services in accordance with the contract
Update & maintain company/agency ERP system with all current project information in the appropriate programs: Change Orders, Purchase Orders, Subcontract Ledger, Progress Entry, Project Submittals, Job Cost
Onboard new State agencies
Other duties as assigned
