We are seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to join our AI Security organization and lead the delivery of large, cross-company technology initiatives on security mechanisms and paved path solutions to ensure Generative AI (GenAI) based experiences developed by Amazon uphold our high security standards to protect customer data and trust. As a Principal TPM, you will work with a large number of business units, builder teams, and partner teams to drive the adoption of paved path solutions that support builder teams across Amazon throughout their software development journey. You will enable Amazon businesses to accelerate the use of GenAI to enhance our user experiences and delight our customers.

This role can be located in Austin, TX or Seattle, WA.

Key job responsibilities

- Partner with management to define a strategy and build roadmaps.

- Responsible for reporting business outcomes and metrics of the programs to multiple levels of business and technical leadership.

- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs to balance the business needs versus technical constraints.

- Manage large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner is expected.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
