Job Description
Nemours is seeking an HR Benefits Analyst to work out of our location in Florida or Delaware.
Primary Functions:
Under the leadership of the Benefits Manager, the Benefits Analyst is responsible for enterprise-wide administration of Nemours' benefit plans, including health and welfare plans, paid time off plans, the tuition reimbursement program and any other employee benefit plans offered.
The role of the Benefit Analyst is to ensure through the completion of their assigned responsibilities that all benefit plans are administered in an effective, consistent and compliant manner.
Essential Functions:
Problem resolution - work with associates and providers to research and resolve complex benefit issues related to the plans described above, including appeal resolution.
Benefit plan and policy interpretation - serve as a resource for associates, HR team members, managers and other departments with whom we partner on questions related to benefits.
Annual processes - complete or assist with annual benefit processes such as annual enrollment, compliance notices, and updating communication materials.
Ongoing administration - perform tasks and manage processes related to the ongoing administration of the benefit plans listed under Section I.
Communication - assist in the development of materials and delivery of activities designed to educate, engage and inform associates about their benefits. This includes new employee orientation, maintenance of web content, and other communication efforts as needed.
Reporting, analysis and reconciliation - create and maintain reports, perform data audits and analysis, reconcile payment and contribution discrepancies, and process billing/invoices as required to support the benefit plans listed under Section 1.
Vendor relationships - work with external vendors to improve processes and address service issues.
Implementation - assist the Benefits Manager with implementation of new benefit plans, systems, processes, vendors, and acquisitions
Job Requirements:
Baccalaureate or up to 3-4 years of formal training / education beyond high school
3 - 5 years of benefits related experience required
Human Resources experience required
Oracle experience preferred.
