WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
The SUE Tech II is responsible for designating underground utilities using electromagnetic locating equipment, record and document the underground utility field data, must operate, and maintain company equipment and vehicles, and follow company safety standards.
Once selected to join our team, you will:
Locate underground utilities using nondestructive methods (Level A).
Designate utilities using electromagnetic locating equipment (Level B).
Research utility company records (Level D).
Constant communication with other team members and supervisors.
Operate and maintain company equipment and vehicles.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE:
SKILLS:
Ability to perform physical movements and tractions consistent with operating heavy tools and equipment.
Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
EXPERIENCE:
Must have a valid and active Driver’s License.
Subject to drug screening and criminal background investigation.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma/GED
WORKING CONDITIONS:
May be required to work weekends and holidays.
May work hours outside the standard 8-to-5 schedule.
Must attend work regularly and adhere to approved work hours.
Possible extensive travel (up to 2 weeks continuously) and overtime as needed.
Exposure to inclement weather conditions.
Required to wear personal protective equipment provided by the employer and comply with safety requirements.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
