About The Team/role
You will be joining our FP&S (Financial Planning and Strategy) team as Senior Staff Data Analyst, Financial Planning and Strategy . You will be embedded with the Revenue and Supply Chain FP&S team within Checkr’s finance organization that is responsible for revenue and supply chain costs forecasting, planning, and reporting. We strive to drive better decision making across the organization through analytics and insights.
What You'll Do
Provide data-driven insights and products that improve our understanding of revenue growth, margins and help drive better decision making
Partner cross functionally to help answer questions such as - which customer segments or products are driving our growth? What factors drive customer retention or churn? What is the breakdown of our revenue growth - new customers, expansion of usage, upsell, and pricing? What are the core drivers of changes to our product margins?
Architect and design robust dashboards/data products that enable us to programmatically monitor revenue, pricing, and margin trends
Help automate manual reporting processes owned by the FP&S team
Help define foundational data models utilized by the team and drive the monitoring and reconciliation processes used to ensure accuracy of such models
Collaborate on annual planning process, revenue/cost forecasting, and long-range strategic plans
What You Bring
7+ years of analytics experience, including a strong foundation at high-growth technology companies (SaaS and/or Consumer)
Ability to think across multiple dimensions of a business (finance, sales, product, marketing etc.) and work cross-functionally to deliver results
The insight to take ambiguous problems and solve them in a structured, hypothesis-driven, data-supported way
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Ideally some proficiency in R or Python and experience with statistical inference, time series analyses, regression models, etc.
Proficiency in one or more analytics & visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker)
Strong collaboration, communication and project management skills
Self starter and problem solving mentality

The base salary range for this role is $173,315 to $234,485
