Collaborates with counterparts from iO to define the vision, strategy and design objectives using the needs of the patients and caregivers .

Plays a prominent role in moving from strategy to execution, as well as serving as an internal thought leader and key facilitator of the design process. Drives the execution across a range of design disciplines including production illustration, medical illustration, graphic design, web design, presentations and visual medial such as video, animation, and photography.

Plans and executes continuous improvement of existing systems and services, as well as launch new and innovative cross-platform healthcare experiences.

Builds, scales and mentors a team of high-performing UI/UX designers, UX researchers, visual designers, data visualization designers, and UX writers to serve all of iO and Digital Medicine.

Establishes a comprehensive and cohesive vision for how iO and Digital Medicine products should look, feel and interact with each other (e.g. a design system), as well as an effective strategy for bringing that vision to life within the Ochsner brand.

Establishes and drives a consistent and cross-functional user research & testing practice at iO and Digital Medicine, including managing relationships, contracts, scope, budget, and timelines with 3rd-party user testing vendors

Drives the development of user research and testing plans with cross-functional teams, ensuring the application of findings to create and implement iterative designs ensuring optimal user experience with our products

Performs other related duties as assigned.
