Job Description Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Director of Marketing in our Chicago or Westmont office! This position will provide leadership to develop and implement the marketing and business development strategy for Ryan Companies regionally. In addition, they will partner with the national marketing team to implement company-wide marketing strategies on a regional level.
Some things you can expect to do:
Manage and coach the regional marketing team while partnering with them to develop and implement strategy and messaging for the region’s marketing efforts
Monitor industry competitive marketing strategies and tools in order to maximize Ryan’s competitive advantage
Manage and execute RFQ/RFP strategy, messaging and design
Create engaging presentations for potential clients
Be a marketing partner for the region’s business development activities
Develop and manage advertising & public relations plans and implementation
Develop ideas and manage the execution of the logistics for events including sponsorships, groundbreakings, grand openings, and industry conferences
Draft content for award submissions
To be successful in this role, a bachelor’s degree in Communications or Marketing is required. Candidates with approximately 10-12 years of marketing experience within commercial real estate development, construction, or other high-end relatable professional service, are most likely to be successful.
You will really stand out if you have:
Experience coaching and developing a marketing team
Strategic and marketing planning skills, a wide breadth and depth of marketing experience, excellent business and proposal writing editing abilities, outstanding technical graphic design skills, and solid familiarity with marketing communications and public relations
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop & knowledge of CRM systems
Practice holding all others accountable for their contributions to produce top quality deliverables and proposals
