Key Roles and responsibilities:

Responsible for providing technical support for timing products for communications and defense markets to enable design-in at customers.

Work with customers and sales team to grow Qorvo’s business in the timing market.

Perform system level RF and mmW analysis. Run simulations to demonstrate Qorvo’s products.

Create reference designs to demonstrate the performance of the timing products.

Determine customer requirements for specific applications and recommend the right solutions.

Troubleshooting of customers systems implementation of Qorvo’s products.

Work closely with the design team and product line manager to create product specification requirements for new product introductions.

Competitive technical analysis and benchmarking of products.

Create technical marketing material including application notes.

Technical Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:

Experience in a technical role in communications and radar systems with exposure to timing protocols and system implementations.

Working knowledge of using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, phase noise analyzers, and oscilloscopes.

Ability to perform circuit simulations.

Ability to influence and drive internal and external customers and cross-functional teams with or without formal authority.

Understanding of high-performance communications and radar systems to create solutions to customer challenges.

Must be self-motivated and results-oriented team player.

Highly professional skills and experience in interacting with business partners and customers.

Position will require travel.

Required Education & Experience:

BSEE or related engineering degree required, MSEE or equivalent experience preferred.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in RF engineering
