Job Description
Responsible for assisting with account management, business processes and systems required for Gas Retail Energy Suppliers (GRESs) to register and succeed in a restructured retail environment in accordance with State legislation and rules and policies as approved by the Public Service Commission (PSC) and BGE. Administration of BGEs Daily Metered and Daily Requirement Services Programs. Responsible for assisting with the design, testing, implementation and documentation of the rules, policies, business processes and systems required to successfully implement new State legislative programs. Handling of communications during gas emergency events.
Note: Position may be required to work extended hours including 24x7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering AND 2 - 4 years related business experience, or in lieu of Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 3 - 6 years relevant business experience is required.
General proficiency in standard software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Customer driven with good oral and written communications skills and general analytical, problem-solving skills.
Preferred Requirements:
Gas/utility industry experience
Familiar with XML
Knowledge of BGEs Customer Care & Billing System
