About the Role
The Company is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Security and Compliance to lead its Trust team. The successful candidate will be responsible for corporate security, product security, infrastructure security, standards compliance, and risk management. This role requires a leader with a strong background in implementing security technologies, policies, and procedures, and the ability to work with engineers to secure web applications, cloud, and on-premises infrastructure. The Head of Security and Compliance will work across various operational and business teams to implement and maintain a comprehensive security and compliance program, ensuring the protection of the organization's data, systems, and assets in line with relevant regulations and industry standards.Key responsibilities for this position include fostering a culture of security awareness, integrating security and compliance measures in product development and deployment, maintaining effective security controls, and leading incident response efforts. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of leadership experience in security and compliance, with a minimum of 4 years in direct people management. They should be familiar with risk assessment methodologies, have experience in an agile software company, and be adept at working with remote teams. A background in information security, information systems, computer engineering, or a related field is required, with additional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA being a plus.
