Job Description:
This job is responsible for performing more complex analysis and modeling to minimize loss exposure and negative impacts to the customer experience. Key responsibilities include utilizing a variety of systems such as Excel, SAS, SQL, Tableau, and other relational data bases to provide analytical support on strategies, ensure goals are met, and propose policy and procedural changes within segmentation structures to produce optimal results. Job expectations include evaluating data to assess potential fraud risk and create mitigation strategies.
The Strategy Validation Team is responsible for the design and execution of Quality Assurance routines for Strategy Decision Engine Initiatives and other key strategic processes within CCA.
This role's primary responsibility is the design and execution of QA Test Plan and Scripts. Strategy Analyst is responsible for the creations of Test Plans which includes the requirement traceability matrix and test scripts based on business requirements provided by change owner. Testing is completed through the use of SAS, SQL reporting and manual review of output files. Additional responsibilities include:

Recommends ways to help the business achieve desired outcomes and make informed business decisions using data analysis outputs
Performs complex analysis of financial models, market data, financial data, and portfolio trends to understand product performance and improve portfolio risk, profitability, performance forecasting, and operational performance
Leads coordination of the production of product performance reports and updates for senior management
Producing the overall test delivery plan and defining the business test deliverable milestones, test tasks and activities whilst determining whether automation tools can be utilized
Define and implement the overall end-to-end test approach
Proactively reporting risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
Implement a well-structured approach to test defect management and incident reporting
Monitor and report the status and progress of testing to stakeholders and to agreed standards
Additionally, business analyst will be required to support daily on-going monitoring for high risk processes across CA. This includes QA validation of non-voice email, direct mail and text campaigns. The ability to multi-task is critical as this is a high pace environment with analysts being required to manage multiple campaigns & projects at once.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years project management work
Prior process testing experience
Detailed oriented
Exceptional organizational and communication skills (verbal & written)
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Working knowledge of SAS and SQL
Proficient with excel
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adhering to production standards and SLAs
Adaptability to work independently and manage multiple tasks/projects within deadline
