Job Summary:
The Automotive Service Advisor at Subaru Evergreen Park is a vital member of our service team, responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our service department. This is a full-time, salaried position in Evergreen Park, Illinois, and reports directly to the Service Manager. Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Conduct vehicle walk-arounds, accurately documenting and communicating any necessary repairs or maintenance
Provide accurate estimates for repairs and communicate updates to customers in a timely manner
Schedule appointments and manage the service department's calendar
Coordinate with technicians and parts department to ensure timely and efficient repairs
Educate customers on recommended maintenance plans and service options
Maintain customer records and ensure accurate billing and invoicing
Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new vehicle models, and technical information
Uphold dealership standards to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a service advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Proficient in using computer programs and diagnostic tools
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Flexibility to work weekends and some holidays
