Founded in 1834, Tulane University School of Medicine (Tulane SOM) is recruiting for an exceptional individual to fill the newly established position of the Endowed Chair, Geriatric Medicine and Medical Director, Center for Aging. This prestigious role offers the opportunity to spearhead a transformative program in integrative geriatric medicine and palliative care. The successful candidate will work closely with the Division Director of General Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Palliative Care, collaborating across departmental boundaries to drive excellence in clinical care, education and research.
This individual will lead efforts to enhance healthcare, develop innovative therapies, and reshape care delivery for the elderly. Moreover, they will play a pivotal role in advancing medical education efforts for students, residents, fellows, faculty, staff, and community physicians in Southeast Louisiana.
