The job responsibilities for this position include the following components:
Resident Production Manager
You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of production and technical operations within the school's performing arts departments and in-school events (assemblies and the like). This role involves managing the logistics and execution of various performances, including plays, musicals, dance concerts, and other showcases/exhibitions. You will collaborate closely with faculty, staff, and students to ensure the successful realization of artistic visions while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. As Resident Production Manager you will be responsible for:
Production Planning and Coordination
Technical Operations Management
Production Logistics and Communication
Safety and Risk Management
Production Documentation and Evaluation
Management Lab Instructor
As the Management Lab Instructor, your primary responsibility is to educate and train students in the art and craft of stage management. You will play a vital role in shaping the future generation of stage managers. Your passion, expertise, and dedication will inspire and empower students to pursue their artistic aspirations and thrive in the world of performing arts. You will also be responsible for:
Curriculum Development
Instruction and Demonstration
Practical Hands-on Experience
Mentorship and Guidance
Team and Department Collaboration
Assessment and Evaluation
