Job Description and Requirements
The VC Formal AE team is looking for motivated, self-starter and talented applicants to join our growing and thriving team in North America. The applicant will have the opportunity to learn a multitude of hardware and software tools, new hardware and software languages, and be exposed to the latest development in the industry.
The candidate will drive and technically manage the adoption and deployment of formal verification working with customers. Position responsibilities include performing assessments of customer environments and requirements and providing recommendations for formal verification based solutions to address customers' verification challenges. Other responsibilities include examining of customer's setup to identify appropriate blocks and metrics, examining of root-cause of tool performance and problem complexity, and optimizing modeling of formal test benches and environment for optimal tool performance. The candidate will also contribute to developing and delivering technical training on new features and product updates. The candidate will work with product engineering and R&D to articulate customer's technical needs and requirements as well as priority and impact, influencing the product team to meet customer's needs and shape product direction. Application of formal verification including formal property verification, sequential equivalence checking, formal coverage, connectivity checking and other formal verification apps.
Desirable Skills:
EE graduate from reputed school. Post-graduates are preferred
5-7 yrs. of industry experience in RTL design or verification engineers involved in deploying verification methodology using simulation-based technologies
Exposure to assertion-based verification (in simulation) is preferred and experience with formal verification tool is desirable but not mandatory
Managing verification responsibility for hardware designs, verification consulting experience is desirable
Good knowledge of hardware design (Verilog/VHDL) and micro-architecture.
Exceptional knowledge of Unix/Linux automation shell (bash, csh) and scripting (Tcl, Perl, Python)
Great oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously

"The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $,133,000 to $232,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
