Your role as a Registered Nurse
As a Registered Nurse at Sparrow Hospice, your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing personalized patient care, administering medication, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop care plans. You will ensure that patient needs are met with compassion and respect while upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. Your role will involve educating patients and their families on treatment options and supporting them through difficult times.

What matters most
To excel as a Registered Nurse at Sparrow Hospice, you must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the care team. Your ability to show empathy, compassion, and maintain professionalism in challenging situations is crucial. Proficiency in using relevant software and tools to document patient care accurately is essential. As a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with at least 1 year of nursing experience, including in Hospice care, you will bring valuable expertise to our team. A current and valid RN license, approved by the State where services are provided, as well as a driver's license and current automobile liability insurance, are required to fulfill this role effectively.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Experience: 1 year experience in nursing and Hospice
License / Certification: Current and valid RN license approved by the State in which services are provided; driver's license and current automobile liability insurance
