Tracking Code 24599933970425 Job Description The candidate will be responsible for the oversight and analyses of mouse models of scleroderma vasculopathy. In addition, he will isolate primary lymphatic and blood endothelial cells from human lungs and skin, or murine lungs which are used for the studies of the molecular mechanisms underpinning defective lymphangiogenesis and vasculogenesis. The candidate will be responsible for preparing manuscripts for publication and contribute to preparation of grant applications. He will be in charge of adopting established procedures for novel applications and developing new experimental approaches. Moreover, he will also provide instructions in these techniques to students and other laboratory personnel.

Required Skills This position requires a PhD in biological sciences or a directly related field as well as experience in handling small rodents, sterile tissue culture techniques, biochemical and molecular biology techniques, imaging methodology and statistical analysis. Prior experience working with endothelial cells and mouse models of lymphangiogenesis is highly desirable.
