Are you a skilled Network Engineer seeking an opportunity to make a real impact? Look no further! Zachary Piper Solutions is actively seeking a Travel Network Engineer to play a key role in configuring and deploying LAN equipment at government and contractor sites, ensuring seamless connectivity to Azure air-gapped cloud environments. Primary responsibilities include integrating LAN equipment with the WAN, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and coordinating with remote support.
Requirements:
4 years of experience with TCP/IP protocol configuration (e.g., DNS, FTP, SSH, BGP).
2 years of experience deploying documented network architectures and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
Functional understanding of TCP/IP network subnetting.
4 years of experience in Network Operations.
Ability to execute precise work in time-sensitive outage scenarios.
Effective communication of status changes impacting operations.
Active TS/SCI security clearance fully adjudicated by the designated agency.
Special Access Required (SAR) designation.
Ability to travel and work remotely up to 75% of the time.
Recommended/Desired:
Experience or exposure to hosting providers, online services, or internet service provider environments, including troubleshooting routing, switching, and load balancing.
Undergraduate degree in a related field or apprenticeship degree.
CCNA or CCNP certification.
Independent functional experience performing packet capture analysis or running Wireshark is highly desirable.
Experience with securing/locking down network devices.
Compensation:
Competitive Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000, based on your experience and skills.
