We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative VP of User Experience Design to lead and manage our user experience strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering user experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and aligned with business objectives and brand. They will be responsible for leading a team of UX/UI designers and working collaboratively with digital product, marketing, and technology teams to bring functional and frictionless user journeys to life. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of user experience design, information architecture, user research, and web development technologies.

Your key responsibilities

Develop and implement the digital user experience strategy for MSCI.com and other digital products / programs

Lead a team of user experience designers and researchers, providing guidance and mentoring to ensure that all deliverables meet the highest standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that user experience design is integrated into the development process from ideation to launch.

Utilize data and analytics to continually optimize and improve the user experience across all channels.

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in digital user experience, and make recommendations for their integration into our strategy.

Work with senior leadership to align the user experience strategy with business objectives and goals.

Manage and prioritize projects, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful delivery of user experience initiatives.

Evangelize the importance of user experience design across the organization, and advocate for the needs of our users.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field

At least 10 years of leadership experience in digital user experience design.

A strong portfolio demonstrating experience designing and delivering successful digital user experiences.

Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, and experience applying them to real-world problems.

Experience with web development programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and Angular.

Experience with digital experience solutions/content management solutions (headless/hybrid).

Experience managing and leading teams of user experience designers and researchers.

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and analytics to inform design decisions.

Experience with a wide range of design and prototyping tools, such as Sketch, Figma, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite.
