A law firm in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Real Estate Counsel with a strong interest in representing leading renewable energy clients in a diverse range of real property development matters. Job Duties:
Provide legal counsel and support on real estate transactions related to renewable energy development projects.
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of real estate documents, including purchase agreements, leases, easements, and development agreements.
Conduct thorough due diligence reviews, including title examinations, surveys, and environmental assessments.
Advise on zoning regulations, land use issues, and permitting requirements affecting real estate projects.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve complex real estate issues efficiently.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the State Bar of California or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
1-3 years of experience practicing real estate law, with a focus on title matters for renewable energy development.
Strong understanding of real estate finance principles and project financing structures.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications (Preferred):
Certification in Real Estate Law or Energy Law from a recognized legal association or institution.
