**_SUMMARY OF PRIMARY FUNCTION_**

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team, specializing in the tint dispensing and mixing industry. The ideal candidate will drive the development of cutting-edge mechanical and structural designs, from initial concept through to production.

**_SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES_**

+ Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components for tint dispensing and mixing equipment.

+ Apply deep expertise in mechanical and structural engineering to create innovative solutions.

+ Utilize knowledge of fluid dynamics, with a focus on non-Newtonian fluids, to enhance product performance

+ Design and integrate stepper motor systems for precise control of dispensing and mixing operations.

+ Design and develop components using molding, sheet metal, and machining techniques.

+ Develop and optimize pump systems for efficient and reliable tint dispensing and mixing.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet functional, quality, and manufacturability requirements.

+ Conduct simulations, testing, and validation of designs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

+ Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to incorporate new technologies and methodologies.

**_EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION FOR THE POSITION_**

+ Bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

+ 15+ years of experience and extensive experience in mechanical and structural engineering.

+ Proven experience in the design and development of systems involving fluid dynamics, preferably non-Newtonian fluids.

+ Significant experience in pump development and optimization.

+ Proficiency in using CAD software for designing and modeling components utilizing preferably SolidWorks. Experienced to use CAD for preparation of design documents (Drawing, BOM, Assembly Drawing etc.)

+ Experience with stepper motors and their integration into mechanical systems.

+ Experience with manufacturing processes such as molding, sheet metal fabrication, and machining.

+ Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

+ Work in a shopfloor/manufacturing environment.
