Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Security Manager to support the Aerial Network Division (AFLCMC/HNA) Front Office Group (FoG), which is within the C3I&N Directorate and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.
The HNA Division Front Office Group supports division leadership oversight of all programs and personnel within HNA, including reviewing, disseminating, and ensuring adherence to DoD, Air Force, AFMC, and AFLCMC acquisition and organizational policy or direction. This group includes a business operations function, administrative support for the division leadership, technical support for all programs within the division, and organizational support for all personnel across the division.

JOB STATUS: Full Time; salaried
RESPONSBILITIES:
Develop and implement policies, procedures, training, and methods to identify and protect information, property, and facilities from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, or loss
Recommend, evaluate, maintain, and/or operate systems, policies, devices, procedures, and methods used for safeguarding information, property, personnel, operations, and materials
Recommend and implement policies and procedures for analyzing and evaluating the character, background, and history of employees, candidates for employment, and other persons having or proposed to be granted access to classified or other sensitive information, materials, or work sites
Provide security support to the Divisions controlled facilities to include, but not limited to:
Exercising delegated access control to secure areas
Assisting in opening and closing controlled areas
Assisting in arming and disarming facility alarm systems as required
Assisting in accomplishing end-of-duty day security checks
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ten (10) years of experience in Security Management, including five (5) years of experience in DoD
Knowledge of DoD security procedures, to include classified transmission, protection of incoming mail, courier requirements, and security incident reporting
Knowledge of and experience with Personnel Security. Experience using the LCMC PERSEC Dashboard a plus.
Extensive experience with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
Experience using Microsoft Office applications with intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel.
an active Top Secret clearance is required.
