Senior Salesforce Developer
Duration: long-term contract starting at 6-10 weeks and extending to 2-3 years
Location: remote, client in Carmel, IN
In support of this need, we are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to help with a 6-10 week initial assessment of the client's technical landscape. If the assessment goes well, the client will then extend the contract to cover the length of the 2-3 year modernization project.

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, the candidate will be responsible for collaborate with product owners for requirement gathering, designing, and guiding the Development team to deliver robust Salesforce solutions. This role will focus on processes related to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Experience Cloud.
Responsibilities:
This profile needs strong leadership skills who partners with business stakeholders, executives, and the technical Salesforce team.
Collaborate the project teams on functional and technical design, build, user acceptance testing with team, adoption, training, deployment, and implementation.
Develop Custom Apex Triggers, Classes and Test Classes, Visualforce, and Lightning Components to address business requirements in alignment with Best Practices.
Responsible for configuration and customization of Salesforce.com using standard and custom objects, fields, workflows, process builders, approval processes, flows, page layouts, installed packages, and other point-and-click configuration tools.
Work with project managers, analyst, and other developers to create project roadmaps, technical specifications and ensure effective collaboration through all phases of the project lifecycle.
Develop and maintain coding, testing standards and best practices documents.
Enforce best practices through code reviews and technical architecture reviews.
Identify and develop plans for process improvements on various aspects of development lifecycle and Salesforce platform management.
Conduct on-going review of Salesforce instance to ensure operational stability and compatibility with evolving business needs.
Assess the impact of proposed changes and recommend alternative solution choices, determining trade-offs and impact analysis.
Communicate effectively with business users on the status of enhancements, projects, and open production support tickets.
Mentor junior developers.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field of study.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years implementing, supporting, and enhancing a Salesforce.com environment for multiple business units and stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of custom Salesforce development including Apex, Visualforce, basic administration, flows, reporting and general design concepts.
Proficient in Aura framework, working knowledge of Lighting Web Components.
Proven ability to lead teams of developers, provide best practice coding standards and manage a complex CRM environment.
Proficient understanding of relational database concepts.
Experience building webservices using SOAP, REST, XML, JSON.
Experience with cross-cloud Salesforce (SFDC) implementations integrated with other cloud and on-premises systems.
Experience working on web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
Deep understanding of Salesforce.com CRM.
Deep understanding of Force.com platform.

Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II certification are preferred.
