Solutions Architect

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Solution Architect will be the technical team member in our fast-paced growing environment supporting new business capture by developing innovative solutions.
Responsible for defining and driving the technical direction of prospective business opportunities, developing system architectures, and providing technical leadership for proposals and strategic pursuits.
Assess market-level technology trends as well as capabilities of complementary solutions enabling larger-scale solution offerings.
Ability to develop architectural blueprints, roadmap, strategy documents against transformational requirements such as cloud migrations, hybrid cloud setup, assessment of application movement to public cloud etc.
Propose new and innovative solutions to the most complex challenges.
Develop IT-based solutions consisting of contextual, conceptual, and logical architectures using standards-based, rigorous methodologies and best practices.
Capable of building & providing impromptu technical solution to client
Strong Back End skills including experience in building APIs, microservices, and database design
Front-end development skills including Single Page Applications with Angular.
Strong mentor of other team members for skills development, coding standards, and coaching.
The ability to create supporting documentation for solutions is a must including sequence diagrams, data flow diagrams and entity-relationship diagrams.
Develop technical approach and project engineering plans, including scheduling of tasks, and processes, and identifying critical resources, to turn the solution into a successful proposal.
Review customer-provided information and outside sources to understand potential issues/ problems currently faced and develop an approach to solving these problems.
Stay current on the latest technologies and solutions in the industry.
Engage as a strong Agile team member with the ability to impact process improvement, quality, and productivity of the team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in microservices, middleware/software integration, mobile, and web application platforms, authentication, and automation.
Perform POCs, identify potential solutions and help implement them.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
5 - 8 years of experience with defining overall architecture strategy and vision for the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
5+ years of Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide architecture frameworks, standards, and policies to support scalable and sustainable technology solutions.
3+ years of experience to facilitate collaboration between IT and business stakeholders to ensure architectural solutions meet both technical and business needs.
3+ years of experience with directing the development of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan, ensuring architectural resilience and compliance.
Experience to mentor and guide architects and senior developers within the organization, promoting best practices in architecture design and implementation.
Review and approve major architectural designs to ensure compliance with internal standards and the strategic direction of the organization.
Investigate new technologies and architectural approaches for potential adoption, conducting proof-of-concept projects to assess their viability and impact.
Develop product roadmap and vision.
Hands on experience to conducting a POC (Proof-of-concept) and ability to guide the teams to meet the future vision.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer/ AWS Certified Solution Architect certification is preferred.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
