What You Will Do:
• Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable web application features built on top of the existing Losant environment
• Collaborate on feature design with various stakeholders
• Employ solid software engineering practices to ensure high-quality, unit-tested, maintainable, and extensible code
• Trace performance and infrastructure bottlenecks and implement innovative solutions to resolve them
• Participate in design and code reviews, and demos
Basic Qualifications:
• BS/MS in Computer Science or a similar field, or related work experience
• Full-stack software development experience with strong analytical and debugging skills
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with consuming and implementing REST APIs
• Knowledge of Git
• Experience developing and implementing high-quality UI/frontend/backend features based on business needs
• Knowledge of design patterns and software engineering principles
• Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of CI/CD
• Experience working with data visualization tools
• Knowledge of IoT platforms such as Losant, NodeRed, or similar
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with TypeScript and building applications in a Node.js environment
• Experience implementing web applications from scratch using Angular, Vue, React, or other modern web frameworks
• Experience with industrial IoT applications and data monitoring
