I.T. PRODUCTION SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

Job Description Job Description Provide I.T. focused support to our ever-growing Production and Post-Production staff. This person must be able to show high technical skills as it relates to Windows/Mac OS, video editing systems, hardware, and creative applications.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities
Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or email
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues for production and post-production equipment
Research questions using available information resources and advise user on appropriate action
Build and repair custom editing equipment and configure virtual desktop environments
Help administer Media Asset Management software and project management applications
Follow up with customers and users to ensure complete resolution of issues
Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
Stay current with system information, changes, and updates
Train users as necessary
Education, Qualifications, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware, and other equipment in the Media industry
Experience researching, analyzing, and interpreting automated system problems
Knowledge and experience of customer service practices
Related experience with Adobe Premiere
Related experience with Media Asset Management software preferred
Related experience with Adobe Workfront project management software
