Essential job functions
Perform month-end closing assignments including preparation of journal entries account reconciliations, and analysis of income statement and balance sheet accounts
Partner with the business to ensure complete, accurate and timely accounting of all transactions
Support the processes for quarterly and annual SEC filings, including preparation of supporting schedules and footnotes, as necessary
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and year end audit requests, in addition to addressing questions as needed
Identify, develop and ensure the application of internal controls over financial reporting related to all areas responsibility, as needed
Identify, communicate and assist in implementing opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
3+ years of related industry or public accounting experience at a senior accountant level
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance required
CPA preferred
Understanding of full-cycle accounting
Inventory accounting experience a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
NetSuite, Oracle or other similar ERP system experience preferred
Team-first mentality
Flexible mindset/adaptability to change
Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills
Flexibility to work outside normal business hours to meet internal and external deadlines
