Job Description: As an Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney, you will handle a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters, representing clients in litigation involving insurance claims. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents.
Providing legal counsel and representation in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
Evaluating cases and providing strategic advice to clients on litigation and settlement options.
Working with legal support staff on case-related tasks.
Building strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the California state bar and in good standing.
5+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
Proven ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize tasks.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Must be located in California
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience handling complex insurance defense cases.
Trial experience is a plus.
