What does the job look like?
The data team provides insights and information that are decisive for the rest of the organization. The current Data Warehouse solution runs on the on-prem version of the Microsoft BI stack. This solution will be replaced by a solution on the Microsoft Azure Platform. The team consists of eight enthusiastic colleagues, including a lead developer, a test and process manager, analysts, and developers who can't wait to meet you. In this context, as a DWH Engineer, you will be involved with backend solutions. Furthermore, you work together with various professionals and stakeholders. Finally, you are responsible for:
Designing ETL processes based on business requirements;
Establishing and implementing business rules;
Improving ETL processes by increasing quality and availability;
Managing, modifying, and writing Stored Procedures for the ETL processes;
Integrating complex data structures;
Data Wrangling, Data Cleaning, and Data Pre-processing.

In doing so, you combine sharp insight with technical knowledge, good communication skills, and a bit of courage. You are proactive and ask the right questions. To make this position a success, you also have:
At least a bachelor's/master's degree;
At least five years of recent experience as a DWH Engineer, Data Warehouse developer, or similar, having worked with the Microsoft BI stack;
At least 5 years of recent experience with SSIS;
At least 5 years of recent experience with SSAS Multidimensional;
At least 3 years of recent experience with SSAS Tabular;
At least 5 years of recent experience with (T-)SQL;
Knowledge of data models (Data Vault, Snowflake, Dimensional).
Pré
Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus.
Experience with Azure DataBricks is a plus.
Experience with Python is a plus.
