Assemble semi-finished and finished parts, to produce a finished mass timber product.
Job Description:
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Fabricate product per job specs and drawings
Prepare workstations per Lead Assembly Technician direction
Read, and understand shop drawings, blueprints, product specifications, and process documents
Perform quality control inspections to ensure product meets job specs and tolerances
Be knowledgeable on all hardware and fastener types
Handle and transport material with forklift and overhead crane
Help maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment
Report issues with tool, equipment or unsafe conditions
Complete other responsibilities as assigned
MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Able to perform manual operations requiring adept dexterity
Able to competently perform visual inspection of finished parts
Familiarity with power tools, forklift and overhead crane
Able to meet physical demands of the job: standing for extended periods, lifting loads up to 50 pounds, squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt
Comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions
Forklift certificate
Overhead crane training and certification
Rigging training and certification
Adhere to all OSHA and Swinerton safety practices and procedures
