Seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support back office functions in a dynamic healthcare setting. Responsibilities include vital checks, medication reconciliation, triaging phone calls for physicians and patient queries, updating patient records, and managing electronic medical records using Athena. The role supports approximately 15-18 patients per day in an infectious disease and travel medicine office.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Livingston, New Jersey.
Work Environment
SHIFT: Mon-Fri 8:30 AM - 5 PM, no weekends, no holidays. The position is based in a small office with a team comprising two physicians (who do not work simultaneously), a nurse, a patient service representative, and the Medical Assistant. Occasional interaction with the manager who divides their time between this office and another location in Berkley Heights.
