Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining data in our databases and systems with high accuracy and efficiency. The Data Entry Clerk will also ensure data integrity and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately input data into databases, spreadsheets, and other systems
Verify and correct data where necessary
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
Perform regular data quality checks to identify and rectify any discrepancies
Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Provide general administrative support to the team as required
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related fields are a plus
Fast typing skills with exceptional accuracy
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry software
Knowledge of office equipment and basic office management tools
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
