Oracle Cloud ERP Project Manager
OVERVIEW
The Oracle Cloud ERP Project Manager is responsible for managing project activities over the complete Project Life Cycle from project initiation through implementation, and ensures that Oracle Cloud ERP solutions meet the business needs in the planned timeframes and within the projects budget. The PM is responsible for overall project planning, estimating, control, testing, and implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP as well as planning for the technical support of those solutions on-going operation. This includes working closely with business functional areas, external customers, internal resources, and vendors in defining project priorities, scope, approach, resource requirements, timing of deliverables, and funding.
RESPONSIBILITIES Oracle Cloud ERP Project Manager directs the implementation on-site functional team and offshore technical team in all aspects of solution, client engagement, goals, objectives, work assignments, business justifications, staffing
leads the work of the team through Oracle Cloud ERP full lifecycle implementation to complete client objectives maintaining scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk
deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations
guide and teach customers through their new Oracle Cloud ERP software and implementation
navigate the complexities of cross-border and/or diverse teams and engagements
lead the implementation based on the Oracle Method (AIM, OUM, SOAR)
escalate and manage service requests with Oracle support
assists the client PM with monitoring tasks and progress of client activities; and,
assesses risks and issues by maintaining logs and contingency plans
communicate, communicate, communicate!!! initiate and lead open conversations with teams, clients and stakeholders to build trust, teach, deliver status, negotiatehonest and forthright
QUALIFICATIONS Implementation PM eight years of experience in PM of Oracle EBS/Cloud implementations
mastery of the Oracle implementation methodologies (AIM, OUM, SOAR)
demonstrated track record of leadership, client management and project management with an accomplished executive business development track record
strong client services orientation and accustomed to taking an active role in executing engagements
demonstrated knowledge base in operations, systems evaluation and enterprise architecture
excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills (Visio, PowerPoint)
strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
bachelors degree required; preferred an advanced degree in the area of specialization
certification: PMP, Agile, Oracle Cloud certifications
limited immigration sponsorship may be available
LOCATION / TRAVEL Primary worksites: Seattle WA, Atlanta GA, Dallas TX, Kansas City MO
Willingness to travel between sites required
