Reporting into the VP of Structured Finance, duties will include:
Responsibilities:
Collaborate in the initiation, design, negotiation, and completion of diverse financing and transactions.
Create and update financial models for transactions and internal assessments, proposing varied structuring and financing options.
Craft engaging marketing presentations and assist in engaging potential financing partners.
Manage due diligence processes internally, liaising with external parties and overseeing project data rooms.
Offer guidance on financing and structuring to facilitate investment decisions.
Assist in corporate finance tasks, including overseeing letters of credit issuance.
Cultivate and sustain relationships with internal teams to ensure accurate information for lenders and investors.
Review commercial agreements to align with financing requirements and provide insights to commercial units.
Foster connections with financial institutions and investors.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to enhance financing strategies.
Required Experience:
Over 3 years of hands-on experience in project finance, structuring, and finance within the realm of clean energy transactions.
Proficiency in crafting financial models for investment analysis and/or project financing.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, enabling effective collaboration across various departments.
Demonstrated capability to juggle multiple deadlines in a dynamic work setting.
Background in executing tax equity and project financing structures specific to renewable energy projects in the U.S.
Proven track record of autonomously leading work streams and navigating intricate transactions, showcasing adept prioritization, deadline management, and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.
