Desired Skills and Knowledge Areas:
Expertise in Load balancing technology including algorithms and health check options

Responsibilities:
With load balancing as your focus, you would be part of a team that maintain and operate next-generation networking, security and load balancing hardware, tools, and implementation techniques to meet customer's requirements
Actively participates in the resolution of ServiceNow tickets by either taking ownership of tickets through resolution or driving a vendor to resolution. Works with other teams to support the closure of tickets where applicable.
Proactively monitors and tunes the load balancer architecture to achieve optimum performance levels; provide performance statistics and reports.
Monitors and drives upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management to ensure audit compliance.
Mentors and develops junior members of the team.
Participate in an on-call rotation with other Network Engineering team members.

Minimum Qualifications
For Hire: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, 5-7 years of network engineering and design experience with 1-3 years' experience in increasingly complex network design and engineering, or an equivalent combination or education and experience.
Extensive working knowledge of networking protocols, transmission media and systems integration techniques. Knowledge of program logic, analysis and design is also required.
Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and practical application of routing protocols
Knowledge and practical application of routing protocols
Knowledge and practical application of security systems such as IDS/IPS
Knowledge and practical application of firewall technologies
Knowledge and practical application of of 802.11
Knowledge and practical application of Layer 1-7 networking standards
Familiarity with ITIL best practice guidelines desired
Proficiency in VMware vCenter, NSX-T and vSphere platforms
Knowledge of Network Virtualization
Proficiency with Network Function Virtualization (load balancers, switches, routers, firewalls)
