General knowledge of healthcare coding practices
Working knowledge of healthcare insurance payers, including Medicare, TennCare, Workers Comp, TriCare, Blue Cross, and Commercial payers
General knowledge of hospital clinical departments and service protocols
Strong negotiation skills
Strong collection skills
