We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Web Operations Specialist to join our team and manage the daily operations of our Shopify-based eCommerce site.
Job Description:
As a Web Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Shopify eCommerce platform. You will work closely with our marketing, inventory, customer service, and IT teams to ensure the website runs seamlessly, provides excellent user experience, and meets business objectives. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of eCommerce operations, particularly within the Shopify ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Shopify eCommerce site.
Monitor site performance, ensuring optimal uptime and fast loading times.
Manage product listings, updates, and removals to keep the online store current and accurate.
Inventory and Order Management:
Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure accurate stock levels are reflected on the website.
Monitor and manage order processing, ensuring timely fulfillment and shipping.
Resolve any order-related issues in coordination with the customer service team.
Site Optimization and Maintenance:
Perform regular site audits to identify and resolve technical issues.
Implement site updates, including new features, design changes, and content updates.
Work with developers to fix bugs and improve site functionality.
Customer Experience Enhancement:
Analyze customer feedback and behavior to identify opportunities for improving the user experience.
Implement and test changes to the site to enhance usability and conversion rates.
Ensure the site is mobile-friendly and optimized for various devices and browsers.
Marketing and Promotions Support:
Coordinate with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns, including discounts, sales, and special offers.
Update banners, landing pages, and other promotional materials on the site.
Track and report on the effectiveness of online marketing initiatives.
Analytics and Reporting:
Utilize Shopify analytics and other tools to monitor site performance and customer behavior.
Generate regular reports on key metrics, such as traffic, sales, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent career experience.
Proven experience managing eCommerce operations, preferably on the Shopify platform.
Strong understanding of web technologies, eCommerce best practices, and online customer behavior.
Proficiency with Shopify and its various apps and integrations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the retail industry, particularly in footwear.
Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing principles.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts.
Experience with data analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4.
