About the Role

The Company, an international investment firm focused on public and private market investments in emerging markets, is seeking a Vice President for Operational Due Diligence. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting operational due diligence across a range of investment types, including private equity, private credit, real estate, and public equities. This role requires a dynamic and detail-oriented professional with experience in the alternatives space, including private equity and hedge funds. The Vice President will be at the center of knowledge management and best practices, using technology and systems to synthesize data and achieve efficiencies. They will also be involved in critical activities such as identifying and understanding operational risks associated with investment strategies and evaluating the quality of fund systems, controls, infrastructure, and personnel.Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant major such as finance, economics, forensic journalism, business, law, or accounting. A strong understanding of financial institution operations, investment strategies, and instruments is essential, as is a general working knowledge of operational infrastructure, internal control design, valuation of investment portfolios, trading operations, and regulatory compliance programs. The role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, general PC experience, and proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and SharePoint. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of integrity and ethics, the ability to work at a fast pace, and the capacity to multitask. They should also be a team player with an interest in professional growth and development.
