The OEM Automotive Technician for Dent Wizard is a full-time, hourly position, designed to assist with a variety of tasks to ensure our customer vehicles arriving through the city port and rail yard will be delivered in a safe and timely manner and also provide additional support to the market through maintenance of equipment, delivery of supplies, and other miscellaneous tasks. The OEM Automotive Technician will complete tasks as assigned while establishing and maintaining clear communications with the management team to provide a consistent, superior level of customer service.
Job Responsibilities
+ Transfer vehicles in a courteous and professional manner
+ Assess vehicle condition and notify manager of any issues
+ Test, recharge, replace vehicle batteries as needed
+ Take photos of tire damage and submit with claim in accordance with customer process
+ Transport equipment/supplies between work sites
+ Maintenance of work site equipment, including but not limited to generators and compressors
+ May be asked to perform additional miscellaneous job-related duties
+ Maintain regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
Qualifications
+ Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license
+ Must be able to pass a background check sanctioned by the US Federal Government
+ Strong communication and interaction skills required
+ Ability to pay attention to detail and stay organized on the job
+ Previous experience working outdoors and handling tools preferred
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The starting base pay is expected to be between $20.00/hr. - $21.00/hr. We offer a competitive & comprehensive benefit package including: paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and 401k match (50% on the dollar up to 7% of employee contribution).
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to stand and walk. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb. Ability to lift up to 90lbs. on occasion. Must have manual dexterity and ability to regularly perform repetitive motion tasks. Able to tolerate moderate to loud level of noise. May experience exposure to toxic chemicals. Protective equipment such as gloves, eyewear, and heavy lifting support may be required. Must be capable of performing duties outdoors, in all elements of the weather.
