You love to delight others by helping them solve problems through technology, making the complicated simple, and connecting their needs to solutions in a positive way. You enjoy leading and contributing to discussions of complex and often ambiguous problems as part of a highly skilled team. You love to build, put delightful products into the world, watch them grow, and continuously improve them.

You will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our software solutions, utilizing a modern technology stack that includes React, Apollo GraphQL Client, React Hook Forms on the frontend, utilizing serverless AWS stack (Serverless Framework, Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, Secrets Manager) on the backend, and interfacing with an AWS RDS Aurora MySQL database. You will lead by example, guiding and mentoring junior developers in best practices, clean code, and innovative solutions.

We are a rapidly growing healthcare company pioneering the most effective treatment methods for children with neurodevelopmental differences. What will you do?

Design and develop scalable web applications using React, Apollo GraphQL Client, React Hook Forms, and Material UI coupled with serverless backend technologies on AWS.

Lead Agile sprint planning sessions, defining user stories, and scoping features to ensure clear direction and efficient project delivery.

Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into actionable development tasks, maintaining a user-centered focus in all project phases.

Provide architectural guidance for backend queries and schema development, ensuring best practices are followed and innovative solutions are implemented.

Ensure the reliability and security of the application through robust testing, continuous integration, and deployment practices.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Stay updated of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and adopting them where beneficial to our projects.

Continuously improve code development and deployment processes

Be hands on!

We’d love to hear from you if:

You have 6-8 years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong portfolio of projects that demonstrate expertise in both frontend and backend technologies.

You are proficient in React, Apollo GraphQL Client, and Material UI for frontend development

You have extensive experience with serverless technologies on AWS, including Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, and Secrets Manager.

You have a strong understanding of Agile project management methodologies, with experience leading sprint planning, defining user stories, and managing project scopes.

You have proven experience in data architecture and designing efficient and scalable data models

You have a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior developers, with a passion for building a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

You have strong problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to overcoming challenges.

You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
