Position Summary
ABL is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor for our Bridge team to process mortgage files and assist in loan closings. This Loan Processor will be joining the ABL team that is experiencing tremendous growth this year and presents an exciting opportunity for ambitious new team members.
The applicant will gather all necessary documentation and report inconsistencies to Underwriting. By providing prompt, efficient and accurate support to customers and co-workers from the application stage through the funding process, you will play a key role in maintaining our companys position as a partner in helping our borrowers reach their financial goals.
The applicant should be detail oriented. Customer service and communication skills are key since you will be the glue that binds all interested parties, from borrowers to underwriters. The applicant should also have an aptitude in math and excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities
Manage a constant pipeline of 50+ loans
Send list of open conditions to borrowers
Collect documentation from borrowers
File documentation using ABLs naming conventions and locations
Organize documentation in files
Clear underwriting conditions
Report any inconsistencies in documentation to the VP of Loan Operations and the underwriters
Communicate with borrowers about closing deliverables
Update underwriters & sales staff about loan status
Pre-close check all loan documentation for errors, communicate corrections to attorneys
Prepare wire trade ticket
Review HUDS and other pre-closing documentation
Send HUD for revisions and finalize with attorneys and title company
Set up loan closings in a timely manner
Confirm loan has closed and funded properly
Additional projects and tasks as needed to support processing and operations
