Who We Are Looking For:The Principal - Structural Engineering will be instrumental in ensuring the excellence of our precast concrete construction projects. Your expertise will bridge the gap between innovative design and practical, on-site execution. This role requires a deep understanding of precast concrete methodology, from design through to installation. You will be responsible for creating and authorizing production drawings for permitting as required, as the engineer of record.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead structural engineering initiatives, in the application of the latest technology using structural precast concrete and tilt-up wall construction techniques for multifamily and commercial projects.Guide the translation of architectural designs into structural plans, emphasizing the use of precast concrete.Collaborate with our in-house architectural and project management teams to integrate structural elements seamlessly into all engineering disciplines.Manage on-site activities, ensuring that precast concrete components are installed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all standards.Champion innovative approaches in the application of precast concrete construction to enhance sustainability and efficiency.Responsible for producing design drawings and construction documents.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSRegistration as a Professional Engineer (Structural) in the state of Texas or from a transferable jurisdiction. This individual will be responsible for stamping drawings per all local permitting requirements.At minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with significant expertise in the design of precast concrete buildings,Familiarity with sustainable building practices and a passion for innovation in design and construction.Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch-Up and other state of the art structural software and tools.Demonstrates skills, communication abilities, and significant multifamily and commercial project management.

Additional Details:This position is located in Downtown Houston, Texas 77002.The salary range is between

$182,000 and $234,000 .This is an on-site role.

We do not offer remote or hybrid working opportunities .The ideal candidate must be available to start with two weeks of acceptance date.Limited relocation assistance may be provided under some circumstances.
