Pacific Standard Print (PSP, an RR Donnelley Company, islooking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. This person will implement production, productivity, safety, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits.
Ultimately, the role will be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the Company’s overall market share.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in shipping, receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
PIV training for authorized operators
Monitor and ensure that PIV safety practices are met
Maintain PIV fleet
Create, implement and sustain a system for job documents (tickets, bags, etc) to be filed routinely
Provide oversight of recycling and waste material management both internally throughout the production floor as well as with external vendors/partners
Provide oversight of raw material and WIP staging for jobs in production
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
Assist in other areas as necessary
Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance
Communicate job expectations and coach employees
Determine staffing levels and assign workload
Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
Confer and coordinate activities with other departments - including daily production meeting participation to anticipate needs
