ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support financial managers in delivering timely and accurate results.
- Collaborate with departments across the company to create new analytical tools and generate insights from financial performance data.
- Assist in the annual budget preparation for different portfolios and consolidate the overall budget.
- Conduct financial and project data analysis, develop financial models, and prepare investment memos.
- Evaluate real estate investments, including debt and structured finance features.
- Prepare reports on enterprise performance for leadership reviews and Board meetings.
- Assist with transaction financing, including coordination of due diligence materials and analysis of competing bids.
- Formulate asset management plans, analyzing capital expenditures and conducting hold/sell analyses.
- Perform variance analysis, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Drive process improvements, including creating standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.
- Lead market research, data mining, and business intelligence functions.
- Familiarity with hotel industry reports from firms such as CoStar, STR, Kalibri, AirDNA, and/or Highland.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel.
- Experience with cloud-based EPM solutions, specifically Planful (preferred).
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality finance or related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Strong financial modeling skills with proficiency in Excel formulas and functions.
- Proficient in creating complex business presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Proactive with excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and good business acumen.
