Description Overview
The Supply Chain Data Entry Assistant will oversee the company’s inventory management system ensuring timely delivery and keeping the company within budget. They will improve the efficiency of supply chain operations through data collection and analysis, requiring excellent attention to detail, an in-depth understanding of foodservice distribution, and exceptional analytical skills. Additionally, they will use interpersonal and problem-solving skills to gather information from different departments and recommend ways to improve the supply chain.
Responsibilities
Manage all data entry for Inventory Software/Craftable
New item Setup & Communication to distributors, operations, etc.
Phase in / Phase out information
Manage discontinued item information
Support all new menu rollouts
Ensure complete setup for same store & New store restaurants
Specification compliance reporting
Create & maintain specification lists by brand
Contract Price List Maintenance
Monitor inventory at distributor as needed
Communicate with distribution partners as needed
Identifies and implements process improvements, standardization initiatives, and automation opportunities to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness
Ensure discrepancies in purchases, purchase orders and invoices are reconciled in a timely manner
Complete ad hoc projects as needed
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Audit pricing contracts to ensure compliance with negotiated pricing through all Supply Chain purchase channels.
Proactively identify risks through daily distributor inventory updates and predictive analytics.
Qualifications
2 or more years’ experience working in hospitality or related industry.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent hospitality experience
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in procuring produce and grocery items
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in managing distribution relationships with produce and broadline distributors, as well as re-distributors.
Excellent project management skills
Must be service and detail oriented; possessing a friendly approachable demeanor and strong problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of purchasing, inventory, accounts payable, and receiving processes
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
Strong interpersonal skills, detail-oriented and able to coordinate/manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Relationship manager, with an aptitude for proactively communicating risk and securing senior-level buy-in within fast-paced work environments with diverse stakeholders/decision-makers
Salary Based on Experience: $55,000 - $70,000
