Job Description
We are looking for a highly capable IT support specialist to provide technical assistance to our staff. In this role, your duties will include providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. You will also be required to upgrade, install, maintain, and troubleshoot all computer systems and peripherals. Pay range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000
Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)
First point of contact for IT support requests and call flow.
Training end-users on hardware functionality and software programs.
Resolve Incidents and Services Requests in a timely manner.
Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software.
Creating, modifying, or deactivating user accounts in multiple applications.
Documenting processes and performing diagnostic tests.
Updating computer software. as well as upgrading hardware and systems.
Monitoring hardware, software, and system performance metrics.
Installing electrical or computer equipment such as flat-screen televisions, projectors, routers, desktop computers, laptops, and tablets.
Assist in companywide project rollouts.
Pull, route, or label CAT5 or CAT6 cable.
Keeping track of technological advancements and trends in IT support.
Traveling to any place of business.
Qualifications 1+ years of experience as an IT support specialist.
Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries.
In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users.
Proficiency in IT helpdesk software, such as Freshservice or Service Now.
Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
Knowledge of Identity Management and system security.
Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Working conditions Ability to travel up to 4 hours to support locations in the territory
Ability to travel more than 4 hours to support locations outside of the territory
Ability to travel to other states as necessary
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check.
A criminal background check will be conducted.
Working conditions Ability to sit for long periods of time and get in and out of an automobile several times a day.
Will be required to drive and be outside for brief periods of time during all four seasons."
Physical requirements
Ability to utilize arms at extended position for long periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift/carry product, totes and push/pull carts.
